Tarkett has now largely concluded the so-called Salamader Project for the setting-up of production of Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) at its Konz site which has been in progress for the last two years. The first production plant, part of which was transferred to Konz from the plant in Clervaux-Lentzweiler, was commissioned from April. From June, preliminary series and samples were produced, and regular production has been running since the beginning of September. Parallel to that, product deliveries were started. With the commissioning of a new packaging line scheduled for February 2013, an even greater variability of batch sizes is to be achieved.
