Fonterra Brands Australia is recalling CalciYum yogurt pouches from Woolworths, Coles and independent supermarkets due to possible contamination by plastic, according to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).
The company stated that the weakened plastic on top of the cap may break off and it may cause injury if consumed.
The products subject to the recall include CalciYum Strawberry Yoghurt (Disney Princess); CalciYum Vanilla Yoghurt (Ben 10); CalciYum Vanilla Yoghurt (Toy Story); CalciYum Strawberry Yoghurt (Cars); CalciYum Tropical Yoghurt (Mickey and Minnie); and CalciYum Banana Yoghurt (Wiggles).
All best before dates up to and including 11 March 2013 are included in the recall.
Customers are advised not to eat these product and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
