Tungsten Carbide Chute Liner
Chute is main conveying equipment for the transfer system, which need to bear big abrasion and impact.
Now most chutes are used three materials: High alumina ceramic, ZTA, and tungsten weld overlaid. According to my customer, the using life is about 10 weeks, and thickness is 63mm.
The carbide liner my company produced is 20 mm carbide with 6mm steel plate, combined by brazing, please see the picture as below, the using life is about tens of times longer than ceramic.
And if you want to be more economical, no need the whole chutes use my company liner, just be used on the high wear resistance and high impact area. Please see the drawing and picture as below, in this way, can be more cost effective.
